“The Game on the Inside” is an educational film created for Biovitrum, explaining the coagulation process of blood. It was awarded a gold medal at the World Media Festival, 2009.
Biovitrum (currently Swedish Orphan Biovitrum) is a Swedish pharmaceutical company, specialized in developing orphan drugs and niche pharmaceuticals for patients with rare diseases and high unmet medical needs. The purpose of “The Game on the Inside” was to give parents a tool to explain the complex process of coagulation to children who have been diagnosed with hemophilia. The film was a co-production with the Stockholm based agency Recommended.
In order to appeal to children, we decided to design the movie as a cartoon, with the main characters presented as soccer players. The video ended up winning first prize in the Promotion Material / Medicine category at the World Media Festival, 2009.
